What is Fitness?

So many of us equate this and dieting as getting fit! Wrong! First, their are 5 components of fitness: Body composition, muscle endurance, muscle strength, cardiovascular endurance,and Mobility ( flexibility). In order to determine how fit you are you need to test each one then based results, prescribe and exercise program to improve in areas that need improvement. That's the fitness performance part. Second, diet! Their are many ways to assess it but it really comes down to what your willing to do to make the necessary changes needed to support exercise then changes will come!
